In 2009, I started a new project (3 Way Split) which tests the organisational management and economic theories of the "Creative Economy" and in so doing is creating a framework for real and 3rd space Collaborative Projects development. To date the project has proved successful and has resulted in establishing the formal and strategic "Sister City" relationship between Southend-on-Sea, Essex UK and the City of Lake Worth, Palm Beach County, Florida USA. Many off-shoot initiatives have also grown out of the project and includes: - Film Exchange Project between film-makers resident in both locations - International Arts Exchange and the development of a new international arts event for the Southend/South Essex area - Environmental knowledge and practice exchange and are very excited to be working with Ekotecture to bring Low/Zero Carbon and sustainable building/construction technology to the UK and Europe...
