These are just a few examples of how our alumni and other supporters have helped to enrich the lives of students at Essex.

In 2010...

...your generosity meant we could give the Students’ Union £15,000 for a new disabled access minibus.

In 2011...

...a £10,000 grant to the Student Union Advice Centre established the Essex Fund Hardship Loans for students in financial difficulty.

In 2012...

...we marked the year of the Olympics with a £5,000 grant for Sports Scholarships, helping our top athletes with coaching, physiotherapy and the costs of competition and training.

...your support helped history students volunteer in Essex museums, archives and galleries – giving them employability skills in research, project management and meeting the public.
