Career support is available for three years after you graduate (via Skype or phone if you’re no longer in the UK) And if you’ve been thinking of further study, the alumni discount on postgraduate study at Essex could help make it a reality.

As one of our Essex alumni you can:

• access free journals and books online through JSTOR
• exclusive discount rates at the Wivenhoe House, Evolve Gym, the Lakeside Theatre and with Event Essex
• access the Colchester campus library, take out books and use their facilities
• your alumni card will gain you access to the library and campus events like alumni sports weekend and the End.

Getting involved

Being a graduate from Essex means you can get involved with the university and join us at events around the world no matter where you live or move to. We rely on our alumni to keep the Essex spirit alive worldwide and last year 271 alumni volunteered at events on campus and around the world. They shared their experiences after graduation and into the world of work with current students, as well as sharing stories of their time at Essex with prospective students thinking about coming to study here.
