The alumni team are unable to issue student documentation or verify study
For academic transcripts or certificate requests
Essex alumni are able to request copies of these documents by choosing to “login independently” via the Student Documentation Ordering System.
The graduation team issue all documentation. If you have any issues please contact them directly via email or phone +44 (0) 1206 872174.
Please note, if you were an undergraduate student who started in 2014 or after, academic transcripts are now issued through your HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report)
To access this, you will need to activate your account via an email you will have received from GradIntel. If you have any issues please contact the HEAR Team.
For study verification and reference requests
The University of Essex uses an online verification programme called HEDD and all requests should be made through this system.
If you were an undergraduate student who started in 2014 or after, and you have activated your HEAR, you will be able to share a secure digital version of this with employers and other universities as a University-certified record or your achievements.
